leadership.

After graduating from Miami of Ohio in 1995, Chris Lorenzen joined the financial world and soon developed successful strategies to trade stocks electronically. An early pioneer in electronic day trading, Chris quickly became one of the most prolific traders in the country regularly appearing on multiple media outlets and often called upon for his expertise in equity trading.

With the burst of the dot com bubble and numerous regulatory changes to stock trading, Chris shifted his focus from equities and applied his knowledge to new asset classes. Immersing himself in the world of derivatives trading, he researched the finer points of electronic futures trading and recognized its potential impact on the industry.

In 2004, Chris launched Eagle Seven. Shortly after its founding, experienced trader and longtime friend, Stuart Shalowitz, joined the firm and now serves as an executive and general counsel. The company continues to steadily grow each year by creating superior technology, investing in people, maintaining solid judgment and focused decision making.
